Reconnection
|
Tenderness so long ago Hanging about mind's edge Taunting, teasing Playful moments of youth
Reconnection overwhelms Touching surface of heart With evocative dreams Torturing soul
Warm light emanating From this memory This dream of old Expectations limitless Falling to abyss Of emotion
Confusion building From this depth Hearts withdraw In fear that old wounds open
Friendship, reflection Their greatest desire And should it be The will of Him Someday Maybe more

It has such a deep feeling to it.
Hi, Looked all over your site for an email address to you but saw none, so placing it in your comment section as wanted to give you a blogger award!
Here’s the link to my post for awards over at my poetry site as you are included as one of the eight awarded writers! This is the kind of award to be passed forward to other good writers too. Great way to promote your site/blog and recognize other good people. Enjoy!
